DIY FACEMASKS FOR GLOWING SKIN



Aelo-Honey mask

Skincare cannot be complete without aloevera. Its skin benefits are quite known and worth. Take two tablespoons of aloevera gel and mix it with a tablespoon of curd and honey each. Apply the pack on your face for 15 minutes.

This mask improves your skin in multiple ways. It boosts collagen production, fights acne, improves texture and hydrates your skin. Most importantly, it is suitable for all skin types.


Lemon facial masks

This one is very easy to make. Lemons contain AHAs and BHAs, two types of hydroxy acid that remove dead skin cells and help clear up blackheads, acne, and discoloration from the skin. To Create a homemade face mask, mix the juice from one lemon with 1/4 cup almond oil. Or mix the juice of 1/2 lemon with a tablespoon of honey. Apply to your face, wait 15 minutes, and rinse off with warm water.



Mustard facial masks

I got to know about this mask from internet itself. Mustard seeds contain bacteria-fighting sulphur, so this mask is especially good for skin sensitivity, acne, and inflammation. Pat your face with little amount of yellow mustard seed powder 1for a bracing facial that will soothe and stimulate your skin. Leave on for about 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. If you have a very sensitive skin, first Try it on a small test area first to make sure it won’t irritate.



Coffee and Honey

Forget Dalgona and use coffee to pamper your skin instead please. Take one tablespoon of coffee powder and mix it with a tablespoon of honey. Mix them well and apply it on your face. Wash it off after 10 minutes. This face mask hydrates your skin, reduces puffiness and helps you to get rid of rigid acne scars. You can also use it as a scrub and it smells really nice.



Yogurt and Orange facial mask

This facemask cleanse your skin and tighten the pores and gives you a soft glow after applying. slather some plain yogurt on your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes. For a this homemade face mask, mix 1 teaspoon plain yogurt with the some orange juice and some of the orange pulp, and 1 teaspoon aloe. Leave the mixture on your face for at least ten minutes before rinsing it off. Orange is rich in vitamin c , so it helps to give the skin a natural glow while yogurt unclog the pores and make it soft and moisturize.


Strawberry yogurt facial masks

For this refreshing (and tasty!) face mask, mash 2-3 ripe strawberries with 3 tablespoons of ground almonds. Add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and mix until the mixture has a pasty texture. Apply it to your face and rinse for soft, smooth skin. I love that how this mask smell.



Rice floor with tomato juice

Rice flour is great for your skin. It can be used to make several face masks. And tomato juice has so many different elements which helps to lighten the dark spots. Take one tablespoon of rice flour and mix it with two tablespoons of tomato juice. You can also add one teaspoon of almond oil if your skin is dry. Mix the ingredients well and apply it on your face. Keep it on for around ten minutes before washing your face with water. Wondering about its benefits?

Applying this mask thrice a week will remove dark spots, brighten your skin and give it a smooth finish. This is my own favorite because it has worked on me.


Banana Avocado facemask

Avocados are rich in antioxidants which can help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

And the creamy texture of mashed avocado is perfect for the skin which needs to moisturized.

Yep, this fruit is a natural moisturizer which is awesome for dry, itchy skin. In addition, it possess a high amount of oleic acid which is good for reducing facial redness and irritation. Take an avocado, banana, and 1 Tbsp of olive oil or almond oil. Mash them properly and apply mixture to your face for 15-20 minutes. Don’t worry, the banana is pulling its own weight in this avocado face mask homemade recipe. Bananas are another natural moisturizer. The vitamin A content in bananas helps to restore lost moisture and repair damaged, dull, and dry skin.


Honey and Apple facial masks

For this homemade face mask, start with 2/3 cup of instant oats and heat them in 1/2 cup of hot water for about five minutes until the mixture thickens. While you’re waiting, toss half a cored apple into a blender with 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of honey, and one egg white. Blend at a pulse for 45 seconds, then add the heated oatmeal mixture. Blend for another 20 seconds. Apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for 15 minutes for maximum nourishment. You can wash your face or you can gently scrub and remove it. It leaves your skin cleansed and moisturized.
